Start the Journey of Card Optimization

Inspired by a scene from Toy Story: toys always long to accompany their owners for a lifetime, but reality often goes against our wishes. Like the impermanence of life, our cards are no exception—they once carried countless touching memories and stories. Now, we hope to pass down these memories and beauties so that their brilliance will no longer dim.
Once, I purchased a batch of cards from Japanese auctions through proxy bidding, only to find them severely damaged upon receipt, and even not matching the description. Unable to leave a negative review, I hesitated whether to discard them. But when I looked closely at the cards, the flaws actually evoked precious childhood memories of Akira Toriyama’s brushstrokes. These damages instead became an opportunity to heal childhood regrets, as if each card was telling a story of time.
A voice from the bottom of my heart said: “The opposite of abandonment is salvation.” Reflection led me to apply my years of experience in auto body metalworking to try to restore those damaged cards. This is not only a salvation for the cards, but also a release of the obsession with perfection and flaws. We can restore with love, instead of easily giving up and selling at low prices.

Honesty is the foundation of card trading; describing card conditions honestly is the responsibility of every restorer. We sincerely invite you to join Card Angel, to nourish minds, pass down warmth and touch together through card restoration.

I especially like a quote from the movie: “A year of work for a four-minute flight.” Many efforts in life are not in vain, perhaps one day you will suddenly realize that all the dedication was for that one moment worth cherishing.
